Seven Things Every Wilderness Educator Should Know

I created this video to give new wilderness educators, nature awareness students, survival instructors and tracking educators a little help in areas that I traditionally have seen people lacking when they go from being students to teachers. We all have things we are trying to learn, and then when we shift to becoming counselors, or teachers or mentors, or whatever it is you choose to call it, there is a huge new skill set that you have to learn, which is often never covered in your tracking or skills workshops. (Which is rightfully so!) So, that's why I thought I would put this together as a nice first step, and hopefully it's helpful!
